1983 900S 'The Beast'

I bought this car of a friend in May 2003 for A$1000! At the time, the person who had the car was moving to Canberra for a new job and he got a fleet car as part of his job, so the car wasn't needed. This Saab is the one that got me deeply involved in Classic 900's!

It's a 1983 900S as a 4SN (ie. 4-door sedan) body shape with an 8-valve 'H'-block non-turbo engine and a robust Borg-Warner type-37 auto transmission. A rare model for the early years of the C900's because it had quite a high level of options which included front power windows, etc. which are fairly common features on new cars these days.
