1983 900 Gli 'The Organ Donor'

Purchased from an Ebay seller in late 2003 for A$225 in semi-running condition but it was quickly decided not to try repairing it and just use it as a parts source.

It's a 1983 900 Gli as a 4SN (ie. 4-door sedan) body shape with an 8-valve 'H'-block non-turbo engine and a mediocre Saab 5-speed manual transmission.

Final Note: The car was fully stripped in late 2007 and during early december 2007 had it's engine/transmission removed (see later pics). The body was given to the great scrap metal gods in mid-december 2007 and so ended the chapter of the first Saab c900 I'd disposed of!
