1994 900 v6 auto saab inner lhs cv joint problem ?

hi , i have a 1994 saab v6 auto. the inner part of the cv shaft on the left hand side where it goes into the gearbox moves a bit tooo much ,you can wobble the shaft while its in the box ABOUT 10 mm... but the thing is , there is no fluid leaking out as i would expect.... was driving ok, until the other day.
any ideas on what the problems are ? trans stll changes ok. etc...
